KioskForge is a kiosk generator app that automatically turns a Raspberry Pi 4B/5 into a kiosk according to a configuration file by modifying a supported Raspberry Pi installation medium to automatically "forge" the kiosk during the initial boots, making a running and ready-to-deploy kiosk that maintains itself indefinitely.

KioskForge uses the free Ubuntu Server 24.04.x Linux distribution as the kiosk operating system. Ubuntu Server is known for its stability. Ubuntu Server 24.04.x is a Long-Term Support (LTS) version that is supported until April, 2029. A new LTS release will arrive in April, 2026.

KioskForge is already used in production at a Danish museum.
